Job Description Summary:
This position formulates, leads, and executes the strategy and business plan for Sourcewell’s websites. Responsibilities include creating a strategic roadmap, delivering on product strategy through actively guiding the direction of the websites, and managing assigned digital marketing staff.
Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Strategic planning
Develop and implement a comprehensive website strategy aligned with organizational goals to increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and boost revenue.
Lead business plan and decisions for meeting organizational goals through websites.
Collaborate with stakeholders (Marketing, business units, and IT) to identify business requirements and translate them into effective digital solutions.
Prioritize feature and functionality requests based on organizational goals.
2. Technical expertise and performance analytics
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web design, ADA compliance, and web standards.
Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze the performance of websites.
Develop actionable insights to optimize user experience and achieve business objectives.
Implement A/B testing and other optimization technique to enhance website conversion rates.
Continuously improve user experience to drive higher engagement and conversion.
3. Content strategy
4. Stakeholder collaboration
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and provide regular project updates.
Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction with delivered solutions.
Create and conduct training for websites, including creating and publishing client-facing release notes.
Collaborate closely with IT to ensure web projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
Assist technical teams in analyzing and translating business requirements.
5. Market and client research
Oversee and accountable for client research, market intelligence research, and competitor data research related to the digital environment.
Utilize surveys, internal analytics, and external data to understand competitive digital landscape.
Lead client website experience mapping and related improvement projects.
Analyze client behavior and trends to optimize online sales funnel to drive revenue growth.
6. Team management
Supervise, develop, train, and mentor assigned staff.
Provide direction and actionable goals to ensure the team understands how their performance impacts department, division, and organizational strategies and goals.
Work with the Director of Digital Marketing to identify staffing needs and ensure that the team has appropriate headcount to support growth plans.
Manage hiring, training, and onboarding processes and ensure that these are consistent with those followed by the Marketing teams.

7. Represents Sourcewell and Marketing
Represents Marketing at internal events, board meetings, and retreats.
Represent Sourcewell at civic and social functions by attending local, regional, state, and national meetings and conferences.
Attend and present at conferences, tradeshows, meetings, and other public events.
8. Other duties as assigned
Additional Job Description:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or other related field AND Five (5) years of demonstrated digital marketing experience OR
A combination of post-secondary training, professional education, and related experience equivalent to nine (9) years.
Two (2) years of experience in leading or directing projects, people, or teams
Familiar with front-end web capabilities and responsive design principles
Experience writing web content for search engine optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or closely related field
Seven (7) years of digital marketing experience
Five (5) years of experience in leading or directing projects, people, or teams
Proficient with HTML
Relevant certifications

Salary Range:
Grade 13, $90,415.78 - $126,582.07 per fiscal year, commensurate with experience.

This is a remote position, and is subject to Sourcewell's telecommuting policies and procedures.
