Job Description
We are seeking a talented, motivated team member to join our organization as a Senior Research Analyst on the Strategy and Operations Team. This full-time, remote position is responsible for SkillUp’s education portfolio and will provide insights and recommendations that influence decision-making. The Senior Research Analyst will research educational programming and emerging trends to inform our upskilling agenda. Additionally, this role is responsible for the relationship management of education partners and will act as the face of SkillUp’s training strategy. The Senior Research Analyst will work collaboratively across our product and marketing teams to establish processes related to the training catalog.
Responsibilities
- Establish best practices and creative techniques that guide SkillUp’s upskilling strategies, leading the development of policies, procedures, and protocols to orchestrate success.
- Understand and build recommendations based on current and future labor market & education trends (priorities, opportunities, challenges) impacting SkillUp’s users.
- Research and curate high-quality training providers and programs aligned to labor market data in key localization markets
- Create and maintain systems to regularly refresh labor market data and relevant training providers and programs.
- Intentionally and proactively build processes and relationships that drive continuous improvement of the training catalog.
- Ensures the highest quality of upskilling deliverables staying true to our workers and the value gained by upskilling.
- Individually and in collaboration perform complex data analyses and manage special projects to advance the SkillUp training agenda.
- Represent Skillup’s education/training approach to external stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in progressively responsible project management, research and/or analyst roles. Familiarity with workforce development systems is a plus.
- Fluency in Excel; specifically experience cleaning data, manipulation and reporting on large data sets. Experience in CSM management is a plus.
- Strong communicator, with the ability to concisely translate and position data.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to build sustainable systems for scale.
- Deep commitment to expanding opportunity and economic mobility for workers, with experience in education, workforce or social enterprise, a plus.
- Lived experience as an upskiller, or a non-traditional education pathway, a plus.
