Uber Advertising’s vision is to offer the most marketplace-centric advertising to connect Uber's platform users (eaters, riders, and earners) with advertisers. Our platform brings together location based and shopping data with closed loop attribution across its mobility and delivery channels for performance and brand campaigns, enabling advertisers to engage with our consumers through the entire marketing funnel - from awareness through purchase to loyalty and advocacy for Uber users.
About the Role:
The AIM Manager is a critical function in our AIM team as this role delivers on our vision of end-to-end insights in all of our client engagement. This role will socialize and activate our suite of audience solutions, research, insights programs and measurement solutions into joint learning plans for each of our advertisers. Our goal is to help every advertiser on the Uber Advertising platform be smarter and more confident about their media investment on our platform. Uber’s Vertical Audience & Insights Partners work collaboratively across sales, operations, product, data science, and partner solutions to activate the insights-generating tools, measurement solutions and audience strategies Uber has to offer.
What You'll Do:
- Lead audience strategy, measurement, research, and learning plans for North America enterprise-level accounts, in support of their campaign objectives and long-term partnership
- Work closely with Audience, Insights and Measurement team-mates, as well as cross-functional partners in Ad Operations, Sales, Partner Solutions, Data Science and Product to evaluate, iterate, improve and optimize audience strategies and ad products.
- Develop a strategy, prioritization, and roadmap for audience strategy, measurement and insights for Restaurants
- Educate and communicate to collaborators and partner clients the nuances of having a sophisticated yet impactful advertising platform comprised of multiple core surfaces in Mobility/Display and Delivery
- Initiate and develop category-level meta-analysis, vertical insights, and measurement playbooks based upon statistically and commercially sound analytics and methodologies.
- Serve as the day-to-day trusted Audience, Insights and Measurement partner and consultant for strategic advertiser relationships.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in an advertising and/or marketing role, especially in Research, Sophisticated Analytics, Consumer Insights, Audience Strategy and Measurement or Audience Insights, or Business Intelligence
- Understand concepts, measurement solutions, and underlying statistical fundamentals of the media economy and advertising
- Proficiency in analytical tools (e.g. SQL, R, SAS) as well as measurement solutions including brand and conversion lift, Attribution (especially MTA and MMM)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years' experience in advertising and/or marketing role, especially in Research, Sophisticated Analytics, Consumer Insights, Audience Strategy and Measurement or Audience Insights, or Business Intelligence
- Experience in supporting an ad sales organization, especially within a specific vertical, as an expert and thought partner, leading with insights to grow revenue
- Proficient in the advertising and/or marketing data landscape, and have a foundational understanding of the advertising ecosystem to be able to credibly speak to and about audiences, platforms and media
- Masters or advanced degree in Marketing, Business, Market Research or Analytics
- Previous experience in a measurement or analytics function
- Understanding of the vertical needs and ability to creatively apply audience solutions, 1st party and 3rd party measurement methodologies and research in a way that improves advertiser perception of Uber, then leading to effective and impactful campaigns
- A deep understanding of applied statistics including sampling approaches, causal modeling, time series analysis, and data-mining techniques
For Canada-based roles: The base salary range for this role is CAD$136,000 per year - CAD$151,500 per year.
