Ideal Candidates Will:
- Bring 2+ years of post-master’s experience, although it's not a requirement.
- Showcase mastery in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Insight-Oriented Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mentalization Based Therapy (MBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), etc.
- Hold or be actively pursuing licenses or certifications such as LCSW, LCPC, LPC, LSW, LCP, PhD, or PsyD.
- Have prior experience in psychiatric inpatient care, partial hospitalization, or intensive outpatient program(s).
- Have an understanding of how to effectively treat mood disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, etc.
- Possess the interpersonal skills needed to maintain professionalism in emotionally challenging environments.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Obtaining IL licensure (provisional clinicians receive on-site supervision towards licensure).
- Collaborating within our multidisciplinary team to uphold our treatment program and organizational values.
- Leading psychoeducation, skills, and processing therapy groups with participants.
- Maintaining a diverse caseload with individual and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities.
- Documenting patient progress in our EHR system.
- Conducting initial intake evaluations and developing tailored treatment plans.
- Providing clinical insights during interdisciplinary rounds.
- Crafting discharge plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
- Collaborating with schools, outpatient therapists, physicians, and community supports to ensure continuity of care.
- Recognizing and reporting suspected abuse according to mandated guidelines.
- Engaging with patients' schools and attending re-entry meetings.
- Actively participating in professional development activities.
- Excelling in time management within a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with Joint Commission Standards.
