Position: Graphic Designer and Communication Specialist

Hours: 40 hours per week / salaried / exempt
Annual Salary: Competitive; commensurate with qualifications and experience
EPS is seeking a talented graphic design and communication specialist to join our Marketing team.

Job Responsibilities
- Design branded creative materials, such as brochures, flyers, advertisements, newsletters, event materials, and digital artwork.
- Lead the development of print marketing materials, partnering with leaders and team members to produce compelling content and design that effectively communicate EPS’ story and values.
- Manage a story bank of client and volunteer testimonials for use on websites, social media, promotional videos, newsletters, and mail publications.
- Adhere to graphic standards and act as a brand ambassador; ensure consistent internal and external adherence to branding guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members and third-party vendors, including photographers, videographers, printers, and creative agencies.
- Manage multiple projects at one time, shifting priorities as needed to meet the needs of the organization and your team.
- Organize and maintain marketing materials in centralized project folders and keep the project management system up to date.
- Track and analyze metrics for creative projects to inform future marketing and communication strategies.

Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, or a related field
- Two or more years of graphic design experience in a team environment
- Willingness to present a portfolio demonstrating your ability to visually communicate key messages in an effective and compelling manner through a wide range of creative projects
Required Skills
- Proficiency in graphic design software, including the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office apps
- Copywriting and proofreading skills to ensure accuracy and consistency in written content
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively organize tasks and shift priorities with agility as needed
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to cultivate strong relationships with co-workers, key business partners, and vendors
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to apply brand standards creatively and strategically to a variety of projects
- Innate curiosity that compels you to ask questions and research details to determine effective creative approaches that can be produced on time and within budget
Desired Skills
- Experience working on communications related to nonprofit work and/or fundraising
- Experience working in Wix or WordPress
- Ability to integrate graphics into email automation and event planning platforms
- Experience with project management software to help you efficiently organize, track, and execute tasks
